I really apologize for the question without browsing first, but I'm walking out the door to use a Mark V and learned that there's no rectifier tube in it...can I still use the amp without causing damage? Hopefully I can get this question answered in the next 5 minutes...if so, you're awesome!

Well past the 5-minute mark but...if you make sure all channels are in the 90-Watt setting and/or all the tube-tracking switches on the back are set to "silicon diode" you should be fine. Worst thing that can happen if you switch to a 45- or 10-Watt setting is it will blow the fuse, but no damage.

+1. make sure that ch 1 and ch 2's switches on the back of the amp are set to diodes, and stay out of 10 W mode.

You won't blow a fuse if you switch to a tube rectified setting, but you will have no output from the amp.
