Cables for 2:90

The unshielded cables to switch the modes on the 2:90 should be speakers cables correct? Is there damage that can occur if instrument cables are used?

I saw your post on the melting cables and I found my answer buried in there. The Mesa manual also doesnt tell you what jack from the triaxis goes with what on the 2:90 (modern,deep,half). I am not sure if it matters.....im guessing 1-3 on the Triaxis are for the swtiching just not sure what one is what.

It doesn't matter.
If you plug 1 from triaxis into modern in 2.90 so 1 = modern.
If you plug 1 from triaxis into deep in 2.90 so 1 = deep.
