So I have a Peavey 4x12 with Sheffield 1290s. I mostly use it for my Peavey Valveking II 20 watt head and my Jet City 20 Watt head. It's in pretty good cosmetic condition but the speakers just suck, sterile and "ice picky" sounding. I am thinking of either pulling them and putting in some Eminence Legend V12s or just selling it and getting a 2x12 w/ V12s. The 20 watt heads power a 4x12 without issue, but I have a Carvin 4x12 with V30s to fulfill that need. Just looking for opinions on what to do, speaker swap some V12s into the Peavey cab or get an empty 2x12 and load it with the V12s. Thanks.
