Hi everyone.
I would like to ask you a favor to help me choose cab for my triple rectifier, or mabybe narrow the list. The cabs that interest me are these:
Mesa standard,
mesa traditional,
marshall mf 400,
marshall 1960 aweg (seems like its 1960 but with oversized dimensions and better look :p)
Vader 4x12
Also if anybody knows some another totally awesome matches with mesa, bring it on. I am ready to save up for mesa cab, but if any of the cheaper marshalls can get better after modding (i have 2 celestion V30s that I could use) that would be great. Because saving some money is always good.
The sound I am going for is huge bulldozing rhytm sound, with incredible punch. I am not a fan of that too tight sound that is modern today, but I wouldnt like to have too loose sound either so the center of it would be great. Also maybe taming the high end and bass a little would be awesome too.
I heard mesa oversized cab brings the beast in triple out, also many swear by the vader to be totally superior. So if anyone can help, that would be great. Thanks.

Ive heard good things about those Vader cabs but don't know much personally....however if you want to keep the bass under control the over-sized cab might not be what you want they sound HUGE but can get a little mush the stiletto cab would be a better choice in my opinion.

My triple recto is brutal paired withthe randall 125 series cabs. Thy have 2 12's and a single 15 in a ported birch cab. I have the version with all Eminence speakers but switch the 2 12's out for g12t75's.

I got rid of my oversized Recto cab. The low end got too out of control. The standard size cab is where its at. Vintage 30's or G12K-100's.

Thanks for suggestions guys.
Yeah most people told me ovesized cab is not handling the low end very well, so that one is out.
So the marshall m400 and mesa traditional are top ones now.
That randall looks quite interesting...i will look for chance to try that one out too.
Which of these has the best punch? I will try to describe what I mean. I had a chance to play a roadking through some mesa 4x12 cab once and the feel of when i first hit the strings was orgasmic it seemed like the speakers are alive and are doing some magic with the amp...it was just totally responsive to everything i did...you know everything was clear as if i played clean but with the brutal distortion the rectos have, a dynamics of how i picked was awesome i could go from absolute clean to total brutality with just use of my right hand and the way speakers punched me into chest everytime i played a plam mute or a chord...just awesome. I dont think it was just amp itself doing the difference...i also dont think that roadking would perform that way through my framus 2x12 :D or some cheaper marshall...so I just wanna know which one can make the biggest magic with my triple :)
Thanks again

The Marshall cab is cool, but honestly the Mesa cab was made for your amp. Plus, the build quality on the Mesa is way superior in every way.

Youre right. So its decided Im going to look for mesa stilleto cab.
Thanks everybody I appreciate your help.

Vintage 30's definitely the way to go with Rectifiers, they sound OK in Marshall cabs, especially a straight non-stant one but even better in the larger Rectifier 4x12 cabs.

I'd go with a Recto 4x12 cab but they're about 50kgs so I hope you have a strong back and a wagon or van ...
