Bye bye, Dual Recto :(

'twas a sad day in Mikeyville. I sold my beloved '95 Dual Rectifier last week. Shipped it out on Friday.

I swore I would never sell that amp, but tough times, they have come. It came down to selling either the Recto or the Stiletto, and since the Stiletto is still fairly new to me, I'm digging it, and Rectos have a better resale value, the Recto had to be the one to go.

You will be missed, DR.

It used to have the tan cloth face plate, but I reinstalled the diamond plate after painting it black.

The Knucklehead Tre is a decent amp that shows up cheap. I got mine used for 1K. They dropped a gain stage out of the clean channel so it is a non-master volume clean that you have to crank the piss out of to get distortion. They added that gain stage back to the crunch channel and it is way over the top. After getting it, I sold my REC. If you like bass or play a 7/8 banger, it has a foundation control for low HZ and can drive a 2x15 to shake internal organs loose. Brutal amp.

I called Rivera yesterday, and they STILL don't have an owners manual for the Tre model, just the Knucklehead, so you can't read about the features in the online manual.

I had a 55 watt Knucklehed and like a knucklehead I traded it in for a triple rectifier which I sold to buy a Randall RM100 MTS
