a bunch of new songs up at:

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=763302&content=music

Let me know if you guys have any favorite tunes / tones...

Thanks!

You got quite a collection of songs there. I listened to them all and I believe my favorites are Over the Edge, and The Dark Wild. All your songs are very good but those two just caught my ear. Your tone on these songs sounds very good as well. The bass is a little too loud for my taste but it still sounds good how it is. But other than that I dont see anything wrong with the songs.

Thanks! Those two are the most recently recorded. Also, those both have the Mark IV mixed and utilize EZ drummer for percussion.

One thing that I notice is that the tone is good and your playing is good, but the energy seems lacking n some of the songs and I don't mean in reference to Tempo. I envision you just kind of standing there and playing. Nothing wrong with that, but it effects the overall feel of your playing.

Tom Morello, Angus Young, EVH jump and move for a reason. Now I'm not saying you should do any of this but you should keep these things in mind to bring up the energey level of a where song.

My fav's were Over the Edge and the Bridge (sorry to hear about your loss)

Just my .02, thanks for posting.

Thanks Clutch. That is very good feedback... I think a couple of the newer tracks have a little better lift as they were recorded with EZ Drummer in Protools rather than loops in Garage Band. EZ Drummer's velocity function helps lift things a bit and sometimes translates to the guitar tracks. I think songs like Chasing The Dragon that have our drummer on the track definitley move better. Our band recently picked up an 003 system with 8 inputs, so real drum tracks coming soon! We will also do more live recording as part of tracking process which should bring some life to things. Hopefully that will do the trick.

Just posted "Everyone Knows With Band" to illustrated this point... crappy recroding but you will see what I mean.

One of my biggest influences in David Gilmour and I think I need to focus more on energy rather than just musicallity.
