I just bought a Mesa Powerhouse 410 8 ohm for $490. Mint with the Mesa stickers on.

I keep thinking that I might have screwed up because I got the 8 ohm version. I only plan on using this cab for my practice space and by itself (with a Mesa Big Block 750 or Genz Benz GBE 750).

Here is a pic of my practice space (currently under construction)

Will the cab running at 8 ohms fill the space well? I play modern hard rock (Alter Bridge, Tool, Porcupine Tree, etc...)

What do you think? Worth adding a PH 210 to run everything at 4 ohms or will it be overkill?

Please let me know before I go crazy.

First of all...geez dude. Where do you live? I think I want to move there, because it looks awesome. lol.

As to your cab question, I think running it at 8ohms will be plenty to fill up that space. Especially with the amp you're running.

Nice practice space there bro.

Post some in progress pics please!

You can always add a 1x15 matching cabinet @ 8ohm if you want an extension cabinet, bringing you load down to 4ohms.
It will be enough in the room trust me.

You should be fine with the 4x10. If I was to add another cab
to get a 4 ohm load, it would be, without a doubt, the mesa powerhouse
2x12. Great tones in that one!
