boosting a 5:25 in loop

any guys boosting their solos via the loop, with a GE7 or clean boost? I've always got a great volume boost this way with my old amp, but I'm just a bit nervous of doing something scary to the dyna-watt circuitry.. :?

You can't hurt anything boosting the loop. I have used a GE-7 and it works nicely.

I have an Allums modded GE7 permanently attached to my fx loop, absolutely love the sound it makes when the boost slams the power tubes. Keep your preamp clean, boost the power amp in, and crank your amp master up to 3 o'clock to find out what kind of tone and soul your amp really spits out. It will not disappoint....but it will be a tad bit loud..... :twisted:
