I have a Mesa dual rectifier rack mount version the thing sounds awesome i use Schecter guitars with EMG 81 in the bridge and a 60 or 85 in the neck depending on the guitar I am using a Sennheiser ew 100 wireless ispdecimator pedal and a korg dtr1000. Can i put the tuner in the signal path or will that mess with my tone? Can i run the tuner another way? if I'm running the tuner in my signal path should I boost the signal or instead of running a boost should I put the EQ in the effects loop because what I would like to do is tighten and focus the sound of the rectifier

Guitar -> boost -> amp = A tube screamer (or alike) will do.

What settings on the amp and what kind of speakers do you use, btw?

mesa oversized cab v30s i'll admit it i'm a huuuge hetfield wannabe with my flair on it i'll have to take a pic of my settings they change depending on mood lol

Pappa Het doesn't need a boost.

Indeed, I think his active pickups are boosting the amp enough for him.
But, I don't like 'tallica's live sound at all! Pretty harsh and rough IMO.

Harsh and rough? I guess I have different ears.
By the way, Hetfield doesn't use a Recto live. He plays a Triaxis and he also plays through his sig "Het Set pups that are lower output than your standard EMG 81's. He just knows how to get his sound by using technique.

I saw them in 2003 and 2005... didn't like the sounds of the guitars.
Yeah I know about the (modded) Triaxis, the Diezels, sig pups and iso-cabs ;-)
