I was digging around and found a new matched set of PM 6L6GC tubes (oranges)
I did a search to find out what these things were... The wed site said the following:
PM6L6GC
This beautiful tube is designed and constructed based on the original Sylvania 6L6GC/STR387. It features extra rugged construction and high quality mica spacers with additional bracing to eliminate microphonics. An ideal upgrade for factory fitted 6L6 in Fender amplifiers etc.
Okay... now curiousity killed the cat... and I want to avoid that.... so.
Anyone out there in Boogie land have any thoughts? Should I try these in my MKIV's outter sockets?
If any of you have the low down on these I'd love your input... Are these great tubes or crap? How do they compare to my standard Boogie STR-440 tubes? Should I dive in and try em or what?
