Yeahhhh, i splurged on a rectoverb and it helped me realize that i've grown out of my metal phase. Kinda makes me wish i had bought a electra dyne or lonestar or something.

Anyways, in the meantime, does anyone have any golden settings for blues for a single rec? I've used the ones from the factory settings in the manual, but i feel like they're only decent.

Anyone?

I can't give you any golden settings, but it really depends on what type of blues you're playing. My type of playing runs towards the "heavy blues" and the Rectoverb did it pretty well. If I remember right, I kept channel one "clean" occasionally utilizing an overdrive for some hair, with channel two on "vintage", master volume around 2:00 and pretty light on the gain. Usually pulled out my G&L Legacy for that style because it made a huge difference.
Worked for me, but if you're playing a more traditional blues sound, yeah, the Lonestar, or maybe a Maverick may have been a better bet.
Best of luck.

Refit it with el34 and use ch2 in raw mode, gain maxed, use your volume pot on your guitar to control the amount of gain.

Agree with both. Recommend driving out put higher than the gain and pushing with a good OD like an 808, ts-9, or Blues Driver .
