Big volume difference when switching between Blues and Burn

Hey Guys,

I've notices a big volume difference when switching between Blues and Burn (with the same settings)...is this normal or is it time to change my tubes?? I've had the 5:50 1x12 for 3 years now, playing around 10 hours a week on average.

I have the same issue...not sure if it's tube coz I just installed a full set.

I believe that adds another gain stage, so yeah, I would expect a big jump in volumn.

I think any tube-related problem would be heard throughout the amp at any setting. So, I'm fairly sure the volume difference is intended and should be the way it is.
