Hmm... just noticed, same mark above the power cord even. I bought mine in Minnesota, twin cities area. Just curious if yours came from same area. :shock:
 
no ca.been here for quite awhile-u know whats wierd is the guy i got this from works in a music store-owen music and has for 30 yrs ya think he/d know what it is but he told me it was a mk iib.but after all my searching it gotta be a mkiii.um.

exactly same except for the mesa boogie sign and i can see holes where mine once was.does yours have reverb/ me no.and speakers look like same 2 different ones-top on mine is the celestion classic 80-bottom i have not open up yet.
 
Yep, mines a loaded simulclass reverb model. My top speaker is an MC90 and bottom is an MS-12. :twisted:
 
have u giged with it and how does it do?looking forward to doin a show with this amp.
 
I don't currently play in a band, but it held its own against my buddy's Splawn Quickrod full stack! I will say it is the best amp I've ever owned. I also owned a Mark III blue stripe but it didn't sound as good as this purple stripe, but it needed service as it was noisy. For reference I've also owned Peavey 6505+,XXX, Marshall Vintage Modern, Carvin X100b, Jet City JCA100H and the Mark III is just my sound, is louder, quieter, and cuts better than any of the other amps I've owned. :wink:
 
thats good news i was biding on a 6505 peavey when i got this,glad i did/nt win it.
