The gig was SMOKIN'!!!
Folks were nice and warmed up from the previous two bands... they were a bunch of crazy motherfuckers, just the way we like it!!! Not to mention they had formed a wall of death when we announced we were going to play a song about moshing. We got major props from everyone too, and a couple of my guitarist friends all gave me big thumbs on my tone. I liked it as well, it was just as I imagined it. The only problem was that I had a tuner before the GT-6 in my FX loop and one of the cables got pulled out somehow, thank god my roadie was there to find out what it is before it looked like a major f*kup (not in any of these videos of course).
I'm the rhythm guitar/vocals guy, you can hear my guitar at the beginning of the new song and "Face to Face".

Da new song:
Break Your Bones (probably the only thrash song in the world written in "F" not E xD)

The other two
Face to Face
Dignity

Jackie,

You and your guys totally rocked the place!!
Great performance, tone and stage presence. By the way, is there any youtube version of BattleX's "The Cult" featuring your vocals?

Very best,
Marcelo

Thanks Marcelo!

To answer your question, yes, but The Cult is currently in the process of re-writing. The former vocalist had a voice that was about an octave lower than mine and I can't just flip the vocal line an octave up, it's too high, and a fourth/fifth sounds weird. So we're taking bits and pieces of the old Cult and making up a new one. I'm not really into changing this song as a whole but I guess you gotta pipe down and contribute sometimes, especially if you're 3 to 1.

Here's the link to The Cult. Not really my best performance since there's one or two painful pitch clunks but overall it's pretty OK considering it's my first time on stage singing and it was friggin 0°C!!!
Coincidentally this is also TriAxis in action, only slaved into my JVM's poweramp since I didn't have the 2:90 yet.

hey Jackie,

i thought your tone was really good... I liked face to face the best... very cool! that looks so fun

thanks for sharing

Thanks man! I got major eyeballs when I took the front rack cover off

BTW - zodiac, this is your post number 666

Thanks JC. I always envy the front row on our gigs because they get to hear what's coming from the cab and I have to deal with the mic'd tone :D
