Hi there,

I'm new to this forum and somewhat new to tubes. I just bought a secondhand Triaxis and love the sound! Now I want to try some other configurations. I got 2 questions.

1. How do I replace the tubes? Do I just unplug them and plug in the new (is it a screw system or do I just pull), or do i need to open up the whole triaxis before being able to replace them?

2. What combination of tubepositions determine the sounds of the rhythm,lead1 and lead 2? When reading the manual I get the idea that v1 and v3 determine lead1, v2 and v4 determine lead2 and v2 and v3 determine the rhythm. Am I correct in this presumption. Than how does it work with the green/yellow/red settings?

Thanx in advance for any help and I hope my english is not to bad.

Arnold,
Welcome to the board!
Might I suggest reading This Thread. There are several avid triaxis users here. One is close to you, Fatboy 135 is in Spain. He's very knowledgeable about this piece. Good luck.

Remove tubes by gently rocking them as you slowly pull them out. They are not screwed in, just held in place by their pins.

Rhythm modes use V2, V3 and V5
Lead 1 modes use V1, V2, V3, and V5
Lead 2 modes use V2, V3, V4 and V5
