Hi there..I´ve just ordered a couple of Bare Knuckles pups for my Les pauls, one Rebel Yell and one Nailbomb.
I checked the forums on their homepage for clips and advice and these were the ones I decided on....anyone here with experience from these pickups?

If you go to the forums you will find them! Check under news and there are a couple of clips, both from Tim, the guy who makes them and one from Steve Stevens using a rebell yell-loaded ( I think) Les Paul into a Roccaforte 18 w combo..sounds amazing

I just brought a Jackson Soloist in to get 2 Steve Stevens P-ups installed. Sometime after Christmas is over I will get it, plug it in and probably record a clip for here (Boogie Board.) I listened to the Clip on the Bare Knuckles site but it really doesn't mean much to me as you can probably get almost any setup to sound good when recording it. When I make the clip I won't EQ or add effects, compression, etc. to get a decent representation of their sound.

Well, I got the Steve Stevens bare knuckles installed and guess what? Big whoop. I'm not impressed at all so far. IMHO not worth the $300 +PLUS+ I shelled out for them at all. They don't sound bad, but they don't sound any better than anything else I've used. I tried them on my Bray modified JCM800, Mesa LSC & my little Peavey with Soldano Supercharger and in all three I was very sad to see I fell for the hype. Grrrr.. heh.
