:oops:You have V30 412 cab GAS? I almost though you were going to say you had to delete the IR file. Time to burn the V30's hater's membership club card? I get it. I was there myself and with the OS Recto 412 cab to boot. There was something up with that 1999/2000 V30 as it is just as muddy as the Marshal Vintage that is loaded in the Silver Jubilee 2551AV cab also rated at 280W. Those speakers sound identical. OK for a Marshall or Triple crown, Royal Atlantic but not all that great with the Mark or Rectifier. I ran the Roadster into the Marshall cab, muddy as hell. Same with the JP2C as they both have 16-ohm outputs. That brought me back to the OS recto sound. RIP old V30, EVM12L Black Label taking over. I have to admit though the 2015 Standard Recto (same as the OS) sounds really good with every amp, including the Silver Jubliee 2555x. j

I have to say the BAD sound epic on the Standard 412. Sound just as good on the V212 (has a slight difference since the 16-ohm version is a tad bit different).
haha I have to admit there is something about the Mesa 4x12 v30 especially with the Badlander. The membership card is around here somewhere :ROFLMAO: however I may have to burn it if I get a cab. In the meantime the IR is working just fine and won't break my back to move it around.

The problem I ran into was this IR

#2. 4X12 RECTO TRADITIONAL - Celestion V30s – MESA Proprietary – 8Ohm

has given me 4x12 cab GAS really bad now.

The recto trad should be same cab as 4x12 stiletto and that is a phenomenal cab 🤣 sold one and regretted almost instantly and had to hunt one down.. found one deal with Mark V 90w in good condition and it just is such a great combination for my home noodling needs 🤣

All live stuff is GT1000 straight to console..

Edit: i do mot have the badlander.. just a side quest

The Badlander is so much lighter then the V:90 and a beast live. However I am still a core Mark player and the V:90 with those 3 chans is still my #1 by just a hair.

This is off topic but are you using 3rd party amp models in the GT1000 or the stock ones? I know they released a couple new amp models, plus the long overdue SD-1 and DS-1 in the last firmware drop.

The stock and whatever the FW updates have thrown in.. I am completely lost any interest to spend time to hunt THE PERFECT amp models/IR/effect blahblah within modelers 🤣 yesterdays perfection usually means too long a spiral in tweaking and fatigued ears that sounds like an ass today.

X-Higain is good and basic Crunch is good. Compared the latter to actual 2203 in loop and A/B tweaked to sound alike and feel alike. Close enough 🤭

:ROFLMAO: can't argue there. I find the GT's digital modeling pretty good but after a while the differences between models kinda all run together. So there's a few default ones that are the "go to" and the rest are basically meh. I did fork for a basic set of 3rd party models from Glenn Delaune, inexpensive and they were great templates to tweak from.
