i've been checking my dc-5 shorthead (230v version) for any flaws... preamp tubes ok, power tubes ok but after examining the fuse i have found some weird-looking dirt on one side. could this be a signal of any kind that i should replace the fuse?
amp itself work ok.

The fuse is probably old or something. I have no idea, but I think you should replace it with a new one just to be sure. That fuse is practically your safety net for almost everything that can fail in your amp.

That looks like glue for the end contact. The fuse should be fine but if you are worried then just get a new one for piece of mind.

Ciao ...

I wouldn't worry about it if your amp is running fine. I would check to make sure it is the right fuse type though. Sometimes fuses can have somewhat sloppy looking construction. If it bothers you then replace it.
