I know this a Boogie Board and I would say Boogie still makes the most versatile sounding guitar tube amps but with versatility comes with "have to dial in the tone". You could go from a headroom clean to scouped out mid gut turning death metal and its still the same amp => Mark IV and Road King.
But the Hot Cat was one amp "vintage meets moderate gain" amps.
Looked to be about the same size to me. I dont really dig that deeply into things like that. It sounds cool, dont get me wrong, but it isnt as good as a real Bad Cat.
