The honeymoon is over with my Randall XL 412. I picked it up about 5 months ago. came loaded with 2 V30s and 2 Hellatone 30s. Great sounding box with my Stiletto(my main amp)- especially at rehearsal. It has been my main box ever since. But like most non-mesa boxes, it came with really ****** casters. So I spent $30 on replacements that looked exactly like the mesas (around $80). The last couple of weeks my randall doesnt roll for ****. Last night while loading up for a gig, I got sick of wrestling the cab down my driveway and decided to bust out my old "Recto STD 412"(BTW - bought it new in 99/00 and have never oiled it and it still rolls great.). WOW! while its always nice to change things up once in a while, Ive forgotten how BEEFY this box is. Fat tight tones and cut thru the stage mix great. I think my honeymoon is over with the Randall - for now  The Randall is still a very good sounding cab and I thinks its cool that it is the polar oposite of the mesa. Deffinately wont be selling it anytime soon. Also when my band records, my band mates and I all agree that the randall sounds better. But for live I think Im back to mesa.

Anyway long story short - I changed my rig up a bit and I liked it :D
