Just looking for some cabinet recommendations to go with a recently acquired Mark IV combo.
I'm in Canada and it's difficult to find a thiele 1x12 or even a recto 2x12 so I'm looking at Avatar because they have a Canadian distributor and decent shipping charges.
I want to go closed back, but am debating between a vintage 212 or a vintage 112. Any ideas?
I could also use some speaker recommendations. The combo has the C90 in it. I was thinking either 2 V30s, 1 hellatone 30 + 1 hellatone 30, or 1 vintage 30 + 1 hellatone 30 for a 212.
I'm not sure which speaker would be a good option for a 1x12.....thoughts?
I will likely convert the combo into a head when and if I can find a widebody headshell in good shape.
