Attenuators

Whats the low down on using Attenuators? Considering one of these as a solution to cranking the great tone out of my ROV without totally going deaf before age 30.... anyone have experience with these devices? Still working on my Reverb Mod as well. Should have this done by the weekend

had a hot plate-worked well with my old '74 Marsh head-got a MKIV recently and ,as it became my #1, I sold the plate-no real need for me anymore-the master v /tweed power allows great bedroom volume-the plate worked for me...I noticed tone suck at the max setting(-16db,methinks it was..)other settings were subtle-pretty $$ in the end for what it did for me-it helped fund my Martin d-18 :wink: ..now the ol' marsh is just vintage furniture
