Are JJ tubes good replacements for Mesa tubes?

I will replace soon a faulty tube that came with my Mesa TA-15. Is the JJ brand a good option?

The current standard Mesa 12AX7 is a rebranded JJ, so yes.

Indeed. You can pop in any 12AX7/ECC83 (same **** different name) you want, still no problem

Depends on the amp. The pre-amp tube combo from Eurotubes that sounded like crap in my Recto sounds great in my Stiletto. It's all about trial, error, your ears, and your tastes.
