Anyone using P90s with their Express?

I didn't notice very much noise with my strat single coils but jeez, the 5:25 is pretty noisy with my P90 equipped Briggs.

It's the same with any amp I play through but is definitely much more buzzy in the burn channel.

No biggie though, just have to play more notes to cover it up! :wink:

I have two main guitars, both Hagstroms, one with two humbuckers that can be coil-splitted and one with three P90s.
And I'm afraid the P902 sound way better than the humbuckers or the single coils. The single coils need a major amout of middle brought in and the humbuckers tendto cloud the guitar. The P90 sound very round an full. Something like a Strat on steroids. Heaveny! No iss whatsoever.

I play a 76 LP Deluxe w/ original P-90's that were in her when I got her in 1984.
Sounds great, but you do have hum. Probably not as bad as single coils, but it's noticable just the same. I use a 5:25 w/ 1X10"
