what do you have your loop mix set on the back? and the front of the g major for the perfect tone?

The RKII only has a send control because it uses two serial effects loops. You should select a true bypass signal on your g-major and switch in and out the effects loop adjusting the send level until you can't hear a difference in volume. This will essentially be unity gain in/out of the effects unit. Then, you will adjust the wet/dry ratio on the G-Major. This is typical for rack-based processors. If you had a parallel effects loop, then you would need to see if your unit has a kill-dry option and use the control on the back of the amp to control the mix level.
