Anyone use a Lonestar 2x12cab w/DR???
Probably not, but if anybody does they probably live here.
Anybody have any experience with this combination.
If not - how about opinions (duck).

Currently running a modified Marshall 4x12 in a halfbaack configuration.
I would like to reduce my rig size.
The open back thing helps keep the guitar present on small stages
hence my interest in the Lonestar cab. (plus I love the look).

Thoughts?????

I tried a lonestar cab with my roadster head. The cleans were nice..but the heavier tones lacked balls. I chose to go with a 2x12 recto cab and I am very happy. Also the recto cab had close to same dimension as my genz genz 2x12, so when I stack em together..they look good. The lonestar cab is a bit smaller

I used to use a 1x12 3/4 back with my DR and it sounded great. We played anything from Tool to Allman Brothers and it never failed to satisfy.

I have both the 1x12 and the Lonestar 2x12, but not the DR anymore.

I am currently using the 2x12 with my Heartbreaker and it really kicks ***.

If you play classic rock, I would say yes, it should sound great.
If you play metal, I would say get the THD 2x12 or a Recto 2x12.
I personally think that the Recto cab is too flubby, but you know how subjective tone is.
