Anyone tried a Rat with mini recifier?

Am thinking of buying a Proco rat for my mini recifier set on the clean channel. Has anyone tried it?

An old vintage Rat sounds great on any tube amp. From a little bit of dirt to thick OD/Dist

I use my old WF RAT in the clean channel of my Dual Rec(I know not exactly the same as a mini) with great results....I like to have it set for that super sustainy, Ebow like, neck PU sound...works great...you pretty much can't go wrong with a RAT

Seeing as how everybody has an opinion, I never cared for the RAT. I had an old original one (cheap pawnshop find) and I just didn't bond with it. It was just too nasty sounding. Almost as bad as the old Boss HyperFuzz. Yuck. It was stolen. I know who did it but I figure if he's happy, suits me!
