Anyone still using G12K-100s with their Rectos?

Hey guys!

Just curious on what your experiences are to this date.

I had them, liked them a lot, but more recently ended up ditching them. I was in a metal band, left the band, and while they were SICK speakers, I thought they were going to be TOO scooped and TOO aggressive all the time for my hard rock ventures.

So, I'm curious to see what you guys have to say about them. Still like them? Is it worth trying such a scooped speaker with a scooped amp, ala the rectifier?

Basically, I'm thinking about going back to an x-pattern with V30s.

Let me know!

THey work very well. The V30's have a good sound with the Recto too, but the GK's really get a nice thump to it.

Old post, bumping cause I'm curious too as to what people think about them. They seem to sound more flat than scooped, IMO, which mixed with V30s would be just fine.

The 100's come stock in the new German made front load Diezel cabs. I really like them with my Diezel Herbert as they are really clear and tight.

In a recto cab I can't imagine them being that great since they are rear loaded and have a ton of air space.
