Anyone install "pocket" handles?

I'm thinking of installing some of the "pocket" type handles into the sides of my DC-10 combo to make it a little easier to maneuver.

Has anyone tried this? How did it turn out, and did it help much?

Also, would Mesa purists consider this kind of mod blasphemy, or would it be acceptable?

I did this to a Rectoverb Combo Cab and it helped a lot. The cabinet was just too heavy to have only a single handle.

As for the "Purists," it is an older amp that might be worth some money one day.
