Anyone have any idea how I can rack-mount my MV??

I have the head, and really want to put it in a rack case and use rack effects.

This has always made me curious. Perhaps it has been brought up before...

The chassis itself is 21 3/4" wide, rack units are 19". You would need a special enclosure that houses the entire head plus has rack rails in it.

It's a picture I found on Google. If you search around there's a number of companies... I just don't remember any of their names.

They run from around $300 for a 1/4 (cheap) thick plywood unit to $700 for high quality 3/8 ply with a shock mounted rack. Check e-bay for nycase, affordable-cases and the case store.

Are you positive about the chassis size? I thought they actulally made it kind of small so it could fit inside a rack, but by whats written here this isn't the case. Could anyone approve positively ?

Getting a custom case for this kind of thing is a real headache here in Israel

Rack rails are 19" wide.

The Mark V chassis is 20.75" wide.

There are a lot of guys here in Portugal that can make that kind of rack for you. It's really easy! They make it the MV width and put more foam on the side to make it 19' where you want the rackspaces, with a rail to put everything you want.
