anyone have a chance to play a new 5:25 1x12" combo yet

i am very curious to hear reports from the field ... nowhere local for me to play one yet ... did the larger cab get rid of the 'boxiness'? try with single coils or humbuckers? clean ? gritty? more gain? tell tell tell

My local guitar store just got the new 5:25 with the 12" speaker. I'm going to go by there tomorrow and noodle on it for a while to see how the 12" speaker sounds compared to the 10".

Typically, the cab size increases along with the speaker size. Anyway, I will find out in person when I give the new 5:25 12" a whirl Saturday afternoon.

Typically, but, according to Mesa's website, the 5:25 1 x 10 and 5:25 1 x 12 are both 19" wide. I don't know if the 5: 25 1 x 12 is taller.

The 5:50 1 x 12 is 22-7/8" wide.

So how'd it sound?
