anyone else using an express amp

Hi guys,

i'm using a 5:25 Express head with a 2x12 Recto Cab- my first Mesa amp- a different league to the Line 6 Flextone i was using before!

Anyone else loving the express, any advice for good settings- like 5w vs 25w settings?

My son has a 5:50 and it's really nice... He's learning SRV's Pride & Joy so the blues setting goes quite well with that, we were able to set it up nicely. It's fun to play with an actual amp instead of models (we had a pod xt live before)

I'm using the 5:50 - I tend to put more bass in the 5 watt mode to thickin' it up a bit but latley I've been crackin' the plaster with the 50 watt mode! I'm very new to the amp myself (Febuary) so I'm still learning to dial it in.

I'm lookin' real hard at this to put in front of the amp to try and keep the tone truer, currently using a MT-2
