Anyone dropped an EVM 12L into a widebody ported cab?

I'd like to buy the widebody ported cab to sit under my combo. I also have a line on a 1980 EVM. Will it fit? Also, does it affect the acoustics because of some design issue/physics I don't understand...

I don't want to buy the speaker if I can't get it in there, I'll just go another route...

I dropped an EVM12-L into a new widebody closed back 1x12. It fits perfectly.
However, my custom MV combo is due any day from the factory, so i haven't had the chance yet to set it on top of the EV and hear the two in combination. I do know it fits though.

I am running a widebody closed back / front ported with the EVM300L (Zak Wylde version) and it screams. Go for it.
