Any recommendations for complete retube of Lone Star classic

The stock tone is fine, but I'm interested in getting better quality tubes. If you have any recommendations for currently made tubes or NOS, that'd be great. I prefer the 6L6s. Also, which tube dealers?

Search the tubes forum for excellent recommendations on preamp tubes for either LSS or LSC - don't know about power tubes for LSC though.

Try Doug's Tubes and Eurotubes. I just re-tubed my LSC with tubes from Doug's and it sounds great. His suggestions were right on.

I'm also gonna try a "blended quad" of 6l6's and el34's from Eurotube. Haven't had time for that yet.
