hmmm i usually use channel 3
my guitar is ESP LTD EX-400 with 2 EMG81s
Here is my setting for channel 3
I use this channel for leads or not-so-heavy rhythms
-Vintage, 50 watts, spongy, tube tracking
presence-10 oclock
Bass-10 oclock
Mid-2 oclock
Treble-11 oclock
gain-12 oclock (or 1 oclock if want more sustain)
I use a boss sd-1 as a booster, volume full, drive "almost" none
tone 9 oclock, always on, except when I play clean or playing channel 4
Here is my setting for channel 4
I use it for heavy rhythms only
-modern, 100 watts, spongy, diode
presence-9 oclock
Bass-9 oclock
Mid-12 oclock
Treble-10 oclock
gain-12 oclock
When I play stuff like c drop or b drop,
the gain knob drops to around 11 oclock
i usually don't use sd-1 for this channel
I'm not sure if it's gonna work for everyone though
I HAVE to change my settings if I play another guitar (fender strat for example...)
I'm still looking for the tone I want hahaha
I might get an mxr 10 band eq and try something out but
so far, I don't have a huge problem
good luck!
