MINE is a non-simul-class Mark IIB in a 60 watt model-
-no reverb.
with EQ.
short head.

at the time i ordered it (spring 1981) i just didn't need or want reverb, and only needed 60 watts...
i had to wait an extra week to get it (about 6 weeks total as i recall).
i don't remember simulclass even being an option.....

all the other ones i've ever seen, it seems that most of them were either 100 w simulclass w/reverb, reverb and graphic, or 100/60 watters with nothing else.

i've never seen another IIb like mine before..

and comparing it with the half dozen or so other IIb's i've gotten to play, it sounds different as well.

could having the circuitry for only two 6L6's and no reverb, make that much difference?

where would i find my 'chassis code'?

My II-B is a short head, no reverb, no EQ, no Simul-class.....but is has the 60/100 W (switch which does very little IMO).

I have a 60watt head w/ reverb/graphic eq. I think it was origianally a combo and someone converted it. serial #9500. Its a nice amp. With the effects loop mod it would be outstanding.

interesting replys...

makes me think that there were not many requests for the particular model i got.

so, any thought on my question about the circuitry?
