Any diff between the MC90 and the 150 watt version?

The topic says it all. Just curious about this. The older 150 watt versions pop up on the bay on occasion, and I was wondering if there is any appreciable tonal difference to the standard 90watt Black Shadow. I don't "need" the extra power handling, but was wondering purely whether there's a diff in voice? Thanks!!

Well isn't that interesting! I never knew that ...always assumed it was a Celestion with more robust power handling. Thanks for that!!
...so have you heard them side by side?

the C90 pretty much sounds like a celestion... decent midrange, sizzling top end, and a rolled off low end. the MS12 will have a more aggressive high end, a boosted midrange compared to the c90, and a responsive low end. personally I recommend the EVM 12L over both, its a better all around speaker, with punchier lows.
