Anti-Compressor?

Anyone notice that the clean channel is somewhat too compressed on the 90 watt setting? There's times when I want a big open sounding clean channel that seems to be eluding me on the 90 watt side of things. I can get it easily on 45 though. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. I have taken my compressor off my board because it is absolutely not needed with this amp. That said, this is still the single most awesome amp I have ever owned. I've had mine since June of 09 and still love everything about it.

I dont play in 90 watt mode really- pretty much powerful enough in 45- but I agree with the best amp Ive ever owned...it aint leaving anytime soon.......

I play at home mostly in 90W mode, nothing wrong in 45W either though.
I get the "nuances" I like in full throttle setting at any volume.
Also.....I'm livin' in the blue channel it seems
