I'm new to these parts which might make you all less inclined to help me, but I was wondering if anyone has any decent quad samples? I'm currently considering a purchase.

Don't know how decent they are :D , I have a couple of clips I have recorded at home with my Quad:

http://strait.altervista.org/mp3/infinities.mp3

This one was recorded with Quad connected to my custom mono tube poweramp (6L6, 50W) through a Recto 4x12 cab, Sennheiser e606 mic, M-Audio mic preamp. The guitar was my Tom Anderson Drop Top with H2+ humb at the bridge and SD1-SD1R in neck-middle position.

I love the tone I got in this clip, is the closest I got to the ideal tone I hear in my mind :)

Tnx m8, I'm glad you liked it. Can't remember the settings exactly, anyway I could guess I used Treble between 7 and 9 pulled, mid around 5, bass around 3 pulled, input above 7, master and gain to taste, bright off, EQ with slide 2 and 4 halfway between center and top line, middle slide almost all the way down and slide 5 almost at top. Slide 1 is almost always kept flat as I don't like it to get too boomy. I suspect i used CH2 Lead for this clip.

Hope this helps!

That sounds **** good. That lead tone is to die for. I've done some looking around and it seems decent quad's are hard to come by.

Keep up the good work dude!!
