another eq ?

ok so I put my eq in the loop and it sounds insatntly better but what I want to know is what settings are people using on the them its just a 7 band with level, also should I run my mix at 90% seems to be best there.
Also what will a od pedal do for me?? I understand you are putting them in front, but whats it gonna do? btw. rectoverb 2 head ,2x12 mesa cab c90's

if you have a parallel loop, then you should turn up the mix as high as possible if you've got an eq pedal in there.

what will an OD pedal do for you.....hmm.....it depends on what amp, pedal, and how they are both dialed in. some people use them just as a volume boost for a solo or louder passage, some people use them to get more distortion, and some people just like them always on as part of their sound. it's all up to you.

an od in front will get you more chugga chugga, tightens up the sound perfectly. I use my od 808 with the settings vol:max tone; 12 oclock and gain:0.

a TS808 works
for that matter TS808 clones and other derivatives built and moded from that device work... dual rectifier circuits eat them up like sweet little nibblets of tone candy and give the string pincher some rich harmonic content if the fingers can stay in the right frets. Hell. Just scrape together a few power chords and feel the chunky~love.
