Invest in a Bias probe pro. Plate Voltage and mA reading with amp on and ready to play. Best idle readings. Make sure speaker is attached.

Because of all the different fixed bias settings mesa uses throughout the Mark series, a meter is the only way to see where your at.

I.e. If you buy 415's (6L6GC) on line and the listing reading are 48mA's. It will be far fetched to get that reading in the amp because of the fixed bias

Yes 70mA's is too hot.
 
Could someone help please with X101 PT?
What are the AC values of Bias and HV secondaries (Standby OFF)?

Need a replacement with similar specs in Europe :cry:
