Ace w/ Reverb Unit

Has anyone tried a Stiletto Ace Combo with a Fender reverb unit?
Not through the loop, but in the signal chain like you would with a tweed Bassman. I saw a pic of the guy from Los Lonely Boys rig, he had two twins and two Marshalls and a Fender Reverb for the Marshalls. Kinda cool.

I'm thinking about hauling my ace down to the local shop to try it out.

Any thoughts?

It's worth a try, eh?

I use a G-Major in the effects loop for reverb. Sounds great, IMO.

How does it differ from the g-system? I was thinking of trying the T-rex Roommate in the loop.
