hi,i have a set(4)of matched ruby tubes and would like to know if there is a certin way they are to go in or just put any tube into any socket? i ask as i read its best to go for an ABBA style?
if so how can i tell the As from the Bs.
all four tubes have PC 23,TC 3800,then one with 025,one with 030,one with 425 and the last with 444.
i dont understand what the numbers mean except maybe PC being plate current?
excusse my dumbness

PC- Plate Current
TC - Transconductance (a kind of measure of gain)

The other numbers will be batch, sequence, testing machine, operator or some other number and don't relate to the tube performance.

All the tubes you have are exactly matched (or at least in the terms of the way they test them) because both the PC and TC match on all of them, and it doesn't matter which positions they go in.
