Hey all.

I have owned a 79 Mark II combo (eq,verb,EV12,export power,etc..) for about 8 years now. I mostly play on the clean channel only, using o.d. pedals and what not for crunch and what not.

The lead channel is thick, but looses alot of the verb from the clean channel. Is there any mod to put more verb on the lead channel?

Also, is the difference between the IIA and IIB an improved effects loop?

Does Mesa upgrade and/or modify older amps like the Mk.II?

Thanks!

They most certainly do! I'm having my Mk2C upgraded to the '+' along with the simul-class modification :D. But I guess it depends on which of the Mk2 series you have (original, B, C or C+). If you are uncertain take a look at the web site http://homepage.mac.com/mesaboogie/welcome.html which seems to be the font of all knowledge for Boogie Mk series. Once you have identified your model take a look through this forum to see what others have done. But most definitely speak to Boogie directly.
