I hate to impose, but I'm not so sure you have a true Revision E on hand. Were you able to check the circuit board to verify? My knowledge on early rectos is good, but on the tremoverb not as much. It's possible they had their revisions.

No imposition at all
I did check, thats how I know. ;-)
Click the link to Photobucket, there are a bunch of pics there.....one of the board that shows:

MESA
RR-1E

Revision E

I guess the Tremoverbs had their own set of revisions, then. I know for sure the early Dual Rectos Revision E was only in the 600's serial numbers. Interesting info!

1994 was an "all bets were off" year for Rectos, Tremoverbs included. They went through a lot of transitions during this time (bleeding into early 1995), so you'll find the most eccentric collection of Rectos from this year that don't always fit the typical mold, so to speak. You'll find Tremoverbs that have varying boards, Rev G Dual's that look identical to Rev F and lower (including old unused chassis and serial loops), etc. It was an interesting year.

And, free bump to the OP...:)

I've had two 1998 tremoverbs and they were both rev rr-1e as are all tremoverbs but the very first run. Those very few have a board marked rr-1c. Those also had a serial loop from the factory. The revisions are not the same as the solo head series.
Either way you have a sweet early tremoverb with the nice upgraded grill cloth and some sweet mods at a good price. Good luck with your sale.
