Hi all,

This past week I changed from using the 8 ohm connection to the 5 ohm. What I notice is a slight change in higher frequencies. Also the mids seem to have a interesting sound, almost like a violin. My 5:25 is completely stock and about 3 years old. I have changed all tubes with Mesa replacements. Before making the change with the speaker connection the high frequencies were a little over the top.

I use a Taylor Classic Solidbody with Dean Markleys 10s, a Analysis Plus cable and run in Green Clean and Red Crunch.

Does the sound change sound like what others have found?
