6V6 in power amp

Hi,

I not sure this is the right place to ask this question but I'll try it

Do you have some experienes with using 6V6 power tubes? Can you describe the sound of them compared to their more powerful "sisters" 6L6. Or what kind of tubes do you think is better to use for "small power amp"? EL84 or 6V6?

6V6's have a bit more mid range than the larger tubes. I prefer them to EL84's. The only Boogie that comes to mind is the Blue Angel.
