6v6 in a Single Rec?

Anybody use these in the power section of their Solo 50?

I just got a pair of JJ's from Eurotubes and I was wondering if anyone had some sample settings for me to start off with. I also play the high gain JJ pre amp set. I play bluesy rock and heavy rock.

If anyone has some starting point suggestions, I would really appreciate the info!!

I'm just guessing but your Solo 50 would have to re-bias for 6V6. Its not like Dual Recitifier or some MESA where you could change from 6L6s to EL34s.

Mark IV (Mark I reissue[?]) are the two MESA amps that could go from 6L6s to 6V6 switching to the "tweed" mode.

I'm not familiar with the Solo 50 but trying to bump up your post.

Actually it does have the capacity to switch to el34, which is where Bob from Eurotubes told me to run them.

I think your good. Especially if you have the JJ 6V6's, they can handle a good amount of plate voltage.
