6L6 Tubes for DC-10 Needed

In advance I'll apologize for yet another thread about tubes but I couldn't find much of anything about these Ruby 6l6's.

The price is so cheap, $49.99 for a quad, that it's tempting but I've got no experience with them. I've used SED winged C's and Svetlana's and have no problems with either. I don't play heavy, dropped tuning type music. More a variety of classic rock, pop, little country. Need great cleans and nice over drive but nothing over the top.

They're Chinese. I'd stick with the Winged "C", they're just a better tube.

I could be wrong but aren't the Mesa 440's made by Ruby? I thought I read that on some post here. Anyway, I have a set of Ruby 6L6's that I got from Doug's just to try out and they didn't do anything for me in my DC-5. I put the winged C's right back in.
