Ok I want to order some power tubes for my mark IV.
Either JJ's 6L6, RUBY 6L6GCMSTR or Winged C SED 6L6GC
I have read a lot of post them, they all get positive reviews but what I would like to knowif someone tried all of them..
Is what would be the difference between them in a Mark IV!?

Only tried the =C= 6l6's.

And they sound incredible. Tight, crunchy, plenty of lows. I run them in Class A on my Mark IV.

I've used:

JJ 6L6s
SED =C=
Mesa
and GT 6L6GE's

My personal preference are the GT 6L6GE which are made using the old General Electric machinery. More expensive but the tone is noticeably better than anything in that list that I've tried. The SED were my next favorite.

It all depends on your tonal preference though... you're going to have to experiment around :)

I can say without a doubt that I liked the JJ6L6 the least... sucked the tone in my case.

I run a pair of Mesa/Boogie str440 6L6 poweramp valves, and a pair of Svetlana EL34 poweramp valves, Simul-Class, mid-gain. Sounds fantastic. 8)
